My name is Rick DeCost and TrippingTheMuse.com was conceived as a place for writers and bloggers to gather, share idea, offer tips, and support one another (with an emphasis on support). My writing credits in the past include two published novels, an unpublished screenplay, and an award winning play. Please visit often and let me know what works, what doesn’t work, and what content you would most like to see. Most of all, keep writing, sharing, and chasing your muse. In October 2008, my company Absent Willow Publishing launched The Absent Willow Review. Showcasing stories that center around horror, fantasy, and science fiction the AWR is a joint venture between myself and fellow author/fan Bob Griffin.  You can view our submission guidelines and poke around to learn what we are all about and what our plans for the magazine are.
